Recording artist, Jann Arden continues to be one of Canada’s most talented songwriters and performers. On September 29, 2009, Jann Arden released her tenth album, Free. The first single, “A Million Miles Away” is already in the Top 10 at radio.

Jann Arden will launch a major coast-to-coast Canadian tour starting in November that will include stops in Nanaimo, Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Sudbury, Windsor, London, Kitchener, Hamilton, Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and Moncton.

With ten albums, eighteen top ten singles, a substantial collection of awards and honours, a star on Canada’s Walk Of Fame, acting, writing and charity work, Jann Arden is truly an entertainment icon.

A very special partner on this tour will be “Raise-A-Reader,” who will benefit from every ticket sold. The Canwest Raise-A-Reader Concert Series, presented by Country Inns & Suites By Carlsonsm, was created with Live Nation so artists could lend their voices to support family literacy in Canada. Raise-A-Reader has raised over $15 million since the national launch in 2002.  Partial proceeds from Jann Arden’s tour will be directed to help literacy programs across the country.
